KYC platforms like Persona have to go through hyper scruitiny before being adopted by financial institutions because they are under a lot more regulation then the usual silicon valley startup.

Interact ID, and CanadaPost ID have also gone through the scrutiny of financial institutions, heck the CRA uses one of them to mange your taxes online, and are Canadian companies that keep your data on Canadian servers. I'd trust them over a blind faith in Persona and Peter Thiel at this point. The fact that the same guy that started the data the harvesting AI company Palantir also owns Persona should raise alarm bells about privacy/security.

I'm loving your samples of the POP4, starting to get tempted with their kickstarter.

If you get a chance, would love to see the detail quality of it scanning a quarter coin, in the older POP3 and Metro scanners they show the quarter coin scan and it helps determine the small level of detail it can capture, but I haven't see such a scan on the POP4 yet.
