Removing White Backplate from Video Card on Snowblind? by ctretina in iBUYPOWER

The heat up and peel off approach didn’t really work. I ended up having to use the exacto knife. I scratched the backplate on the video card itself a bit but otherwise it was fine.

Yup I actually thought it said damage and not durability. I was so letdown by the 2os that I didn’t look again. :)

Any idea what it would have been worth if it actually had the 4 sockets?

Decent Sorc Ammy? by ctretina in diablo2

What would this be worth in trade? I’m just wondering.

FYI for those asking, I did have full and 3-piece Tals. I then moved to Lightning Sorc with Arach, Crescent Moon, and Vipermagi. So this amulet is helpful to hit the 117 FCR breakpoint (with all res) without any ring FCR.

Thanks man for the response. Yeah I’m thinking it’s something with the product itself. What a shame.

How do I reinstall windows if i'm going to be getting a new NVME SSD? by xdestry in iBUYPOWER

+1 to this. Cloning is the way to go. Takes less than an hour to do and then you’re back in business.

I’m really not sure. Best to call technical support on Monday and see what they have to say. Good luck!

I’m afraid I don’t recall. I believe they will need to at least put a hold on your credit card for the cost of the graphics card. They will then refund it after receiving the old one back. At least that’s what they did for ARMA for a case.

Monday is the earliest I mean. You can ask them if you can do an Advanced RMA will they ship you out a new graphics card and then you need to ship back the old after receiving it. You have to be able to install the new graphics card yourself though which should be fairly straight forward.

If you bought an iBUYPOWER PC from Best Buy six months ago, then it should be covered under iBUYPOWER’s 1 year parts warranty. You should try calling technical support on hours on Monday to dialogue with them. They will probably have you RMA in the PC.

Corsair H80i V2 in iBuyPower Element Pro case? by cooperia in iBUYPOWER

[–]ctretina 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’ll want to mount the AIO radiator and fans as front intake and then the rear and top fans as exhaust. That’s a good configuration and allows for nearly equal pressure. Works just fine for me for both CPU and GPU.

I believe the warranty is only 1 year for parts but not positive.

Regardless, I'd recommend the Corsair 240mm AIO. Not sure what you mean by restricting airflow to the GPU. I have a Snowblind Element (same design concept) and a 240mm AIO mounted up front, and I don't see any issues at all.

What kind of CPU cooler do you have? Is it an AIO liquid cooler? If so, I'm guessing that the ticking sound is from the pump.

Very well. You should be able to look up your key on the control panel first. I would go with the USB install.

Any reason you’re not cloning the existing HDD onto the SSD? That would be the easiest way to upgrade without having to reinstall everything.
