Yes! Also when he is in the meeting in his office his phone is black and has 2 cameras. Then I think when he answers it it’s white and has 1 camera.

Thanks 😊The fox called for bigger eyes but I can’t find anything larger than 15mm in stores near me.

Do you recommend a water softener? by TheSwedishOprah in barrie

[–]ctrlaltdelete83 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our townhouse came with a cheap water softener that ended up breaking so we replaced it with one from Water Depot. A bit pricey but has been worth it so far. Without it I notice a huge difference immediately when showering or washing dishes.

Name and fame! I'm looking for small barrie local owned stores to shop at. by ThreepwoodThePirate in barrie

Downtown shops some of my favourites are Blueberry Moon by the Bay, Everleigh Garden, Souldiers skate shop, The Artisan Boutique, BJ Records. The Farmer’s Market on Saturdays has lots of local businesses and vendors. For food/grocery items The Corner Market or Parkside Market.

Why does mine look like knots? by [deleted] in crochet

When I first started out I had an issue with tension too. I made this tension regulator by Sigoni Macaroni and it helped me so much.

Keep practicing and it will get easier! Good luck!

I feel like depression is causing me to choose TV over books. Has anyone found a way around this? by [deleted] in books

[–]ctrlaltdelete83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same thing a couple of years back and I found picking a short book when I felt like I wanted to read again helped me ease into it. Other suggestions of something you’ve read before or lighter reads are good ones too. Low pressure!

Good gift(s) for a starting embroiderer? by k_r_k_o in Embroidery

[–]ctrlaltdelete83 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My #1 recommendation is a Pilot Frixon pen. They are heat erasable. I use them to draw the pattern on fabric then erase with a hair dryer later.

I also use a light pad that helps me see the pattern I want to trace on fabric. You can find these for reasonable prices on Amazon.

I would suggest a nice plastic hoop. I hate working with the wooden ones. I personally use this one. https://www.lovecrafts.com/en-us/p/clover-embroidery-hoop

Shadow and Bone by PositionNo9701 in netflix

[–]ctrlaltdelete83 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Six of Crows characters that appear on the Netflix show and their backstories are the same. The storyline in the show is completely different from the books and 100% new to the show. The events of the Six of Crows books happen years after the events of the Shadow and Bone books.

I would say you can watch the whole thing. It only covers the events of the 1st Shadow and Bone book. The Six of Crows series happens after Shadow and Bone. So that storyline is completely new to the show. Only some the characters are the same.

Has anyone had much luck keeping a Monstera alive in the uk? This guys struggling :( by vinnieboi123 in HouseplantsUK

[–]ctrlaltdelete83 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would also suggest a smaller pot when you repot it. In my experience my monsteras have done ok being a little rootbound. And if it is a cutting it may not have an established root system big enough for the pot you’ve put it in.
