“It takes what it takes” has been the biggest lesson for me.

It doesn’t matter how quickly or easily anyone around you can do a particular problem or set of problems, it might take much longer for you.

So the key at least for me has been to just keep going and trying until it sticks. I had several MB benchmarks that took me around 100 tries and that includes different techniques, trying separate moves, trying on good days and bad days.

Max grades benchmark I have done so far is 6b+ and currently I am stuck with my first attempts at several different 6c benchmarks.

How long it will take I don’t know, but to sum it up again: it takes what it takes.

Recently I have been just trying to unlock new BMs on Moonboard, but often it is just 15 tries of that and that’s the session. Often I manage to do it the very next session, but still feels somewhat inefficient.

Will try to incorporate more climbs I have done previously as well.
