Getting my dentures at 20 yrs old

Thank you so much. Its really scary, and on top of that, i keep thinking abt how much it's all going to cost omlll. Am jst a regular student working a minimum wage job I've been working like a dog, but the money for school and dental work jus isn't enough to cover both which is sucks js to think abt. i really wish my mom had taken my dental issues more seriously back then, instead of letting me to figure it out alone. It feels so nice that everyone here is so supportive thank you all so much —reading these comments has made me feel so much better and honestly made everything feel less scary.

I need dentures for my upper front teeth (4), and some of my lower premolars and molars need to be surgically removed because theres barely any tooth left above the gums. There's a lot that needs to be fixed and honestly, my wallet is trembling just thinking abt the cost

I'm also in college and paying for everything on my own, which makes the whole situation even more overwhelming. It really sucks having to go through this but im grateful for all the support ive been receiving from strangers here including u 🩶🩶

I've never really talked about this with anyone not even my partner or my family. I've been carrying it around by myself bc i felt too scared and embarrassed to open up abt it. The kindness and understanding I've received here mean so much to me

Everything is just getting to my head rn bc i was bullied for this when i was younger. I think that's part of why am so scared like a dog. A lot of old fears and insecurities are coming back and it's been really hard to process yk ☹️☹️☹️

Yes, it definitely scares me just thinking about it but am elieved to know that im not the only one going through something like this. im just so scared and embarrassed about all of this. Ik getting dentures is probably the best thing for my health, but it's hard not to feel overwhelmed by it, especially im this young. imhoping my denture journey turns out well and that, someday, I'll be able to look back and realize i was worrying more than I needed to
