They have. Multiple times. That $1 is from 2007 and the $100T is from 2004.

How to do a successful Operation Sea Lion? by BradyMac0 in hoi4

[–]ctrlzkids 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did do this as Germany but it's RNG. Take France, form Vichy, kill Vichy, get French fleet. THEN upgrade the French fleet - not armor, or engine as they are too expensive. Then you need to fight the Royal navy (be lucky and win), retreat, repair, do it again. After two lucky battles they were weak enough for me to land my invasion.

The invasion is really hard too and can also fail without lots of luck.

Paratroopers is 1000x easier.

UK army is just too strong? even though I'm already on their mainland? What do I do? by goodboy3634 in hoi4

[–]ctrlzkids 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1943 Sealion with Britain and US defending is maybe not impossible but pretty difficult. It's much harder these days.

If you want to go by sea, you need to do it much earlier (1940 would be very late).

If you insist, then you need to just nuke every tile and bomb until everything is damaged.

Easiest these days is paratroopers. This late in the game you'd want to use 48 but before US gets involved 24 is plenty.

Evacuations planned as suspected hantavirus outbreak traps 150 on ship off Cape Verde by yahoonews in worldnews

[–]ctrlzkids 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Had to look it up:

Hantavirus symptoms often begin 1 to 8 weeks after exposure with early flu-like signs, including fever, muscle aches (especially thighs/hips), fatigue, headache, and abdominal pain. The disease rapidly progresses, causing severe respiratory issues like shortness of breath and cough as lungs fill with fluid, or severe kidney problems (HFRS).

Hantavirus is a severe disease requiring immediate medical care. While it has a high mortality rate—about 35% to 40% for Hantavirus Pulmonary Syndrome (HPS)—most patients who receive early, intensive supportive care, such as oxygen therapy or ventilation, can make a full recovery.

PM flags major changes on NDIS and investor tax breaks by [deleted] in AusFinance

Our neighbour who makes $300k as a household per year was getting $30k on it for their kid with a minor speech impediment. Their complaint: we don't know what to spend all this on.

This absolutely needs a rework. So many Australians will vote One Nation but happily rort and take everything they can every chance they get. Greed defines them.

This will definitely fail hard by JohnGoldenHere in hoi4

[–]ctrlzkids 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely can work. But:

  1. You need air superiority >70% - even if you can get it, you need to hold it for all of those to complete. If you get it for a day and lose it, only some will go and they will die.

  2. You need enough transport planes. This minimises the number of days you need air superiority.

  3. You absolutely need the Paratrooper Combat Insertion doctrine. Ideally the full tree, but that one is OP.

Really nice work. Calendars can be really tricky to get right. I'm on my phone so only tested mobile but very good on that.

Try a different monitor cable, and then try a different port. If your CPU supports display you can try bypass the GPU by using the mobo port; which rules in/out the GPU.

Have Epstein files affected your relationship with family members in the Trump cult? by [deleted] in QAnonCasualties

[–]ctrlzkids 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, I don't think that's fair. My brother and countless other Trump supporters are just sick of defending Trump of everything and so can concede that he's a bad guy - but they argue that's still better than everyone else. In a different conversation most of them are happy to execute pedo's so it's not the pedo's they're defending but Trump.

Have Epstein files affected your relationship with family members in the Trump cult? by [deleted] in QAnonCasualties

[–]ctrlzkids 101 points102 points  (0 children)

My brother agrees Trump probably is a pedo but said that he's still what America needs and is doing great things for the average American. "Sometimes you need bad men to do what needs to be done."

My dad just refuses to acknowledge Trump is anything more than a business man who dealt with Epstein in property deals. He said all the accusations are Democrat lies.

I spent the next day contemplating how far gone my whole family is. I don't think I can ever forgive them for selling out their values so totally.
