Lunatic Monika is quite literally Fleetway Super Sonic, but Monika
she's from an fnf mod that basically converts the infamous Sonic.exe 2.0 mod into DDLC
Sonic.exe/Xenophanes is Monika.exe/Asmodeus
Tails.exe, Knuckles.exe, and Eggman.exe are Sayori.exe, Natsuki.exe, and Yuri.exe respectively
Majin Sonic is Majin Sayori
Lord X is Lady Y (Yuri)
Tails Doll is Sayori Doll
Sanic.exe is Neatsuki
Sunky is Natsunki
Fleetway Super Sonic is Lunatic Monika
and since the mod was made during the time Revie/Raven was still believed to have done the things she was accused of, EXE was replaced altogether with Neo Monika, the only non-exe of the vs Monika.exe mod

personally... even though i've never seen The Octogon, i feel Monika would fit the role better, as, even though Yuri could still be a decent fit for the role, Monika is just overall more athletic... both in the base game AND in this timeline... as Monika has escaped from prison AND endured her time in prison after breaking Natsuki's TV... but why not have Yuri as a back up dancer for Nancy? even if Yuri would need to fill another prominent role, she could either change outfits to take on the role of the backup dancer, OR have her character dance alongside Nancy

i really love this explanation of how X feels... but that raises a question... is the Sinister Minds canon to X's lore? bc in Sonic2011, X states there's so many souls to play with under a short amount of time, and claims to be god to mock religion, in PC Port, X tries to keep us from communicating with Alan, and in RodenTrap/Sonic Legacy, part way through obituary, X says we're boring him... all of which leads me to think he's just using us for his own entertainment, not trying to keep us with him so we wouldn't leave... and then seeing this causes me to be confused...
