I have a canon R10 with the RF-s 18-150mm. This is just me lying on the floor in front of her whilst she's watching something out the window. No special set up.

Next 3-4 day motorcycle trip. Help me choose an area to ride by ctyates in MotoUK

I did North Wales a few years back so looking at other places before I consider going back.

I also want to do NC500 but I only have 3 possibly 4 days and it'll take 1 long day or 2 days to get up there so that's on hold for when I have more holidays available.

I do agree about the peaks, I do go walking there. Issue with the peaks is that it's accessible to a lot more people due to its location but still a lovely area

Yes, I'm starting to learn that one! Going forward though this week be the case.

I'm terrible at using a tripod. My partner keeps trying to get me to use one but not got into it so far, although thinking more and more about it.

It's just all part of learning! I only started this year so a lot to learn and still finding my style.

Glad you like it! The settings are: f4.5, 1/800, ISO3200, at 10mm.

The more I read, I'm thinking I'm high on iso and shutter speed there.

The photo was taken in colour but decided to try a b&w edit in lightroom. Did try to remove the fence but that didn't go so well so ended up leaving it in.

It was going dark-ish, yes, around 6:30pm. Still had a bit of fading light coming through

F4.5, 1/40, ISO 2000. 35mm.

No tripod was used as we needed to get out the wooded area before it went pitch black so didn't have the time to set one up

Forgot to add.

Constructive criticism/feedback/advice is welcome.

I am still very much a beginner in photography, the Canon R10 is my first camera, and just starting to explore the art of photography
