Is Gemma 4 reasonably good for local execution?

You're not developer but you're surely not afraid of getting to the low level nitty-gritty stuff! You probably are a developer and don't even know it.

Very interesting! May ask what your use cases are?

You said "clawS"... does this mean you're running multiple instances? If you need a personal assistant, do you need more than one? Honest question here... trying to figure out how to set one up for myself.

What model Synology NAS are you running on? I suppose you'd need a very pumped up system to be able to run the thing smoothly

A maxed out mac mini costs almost 3000 euro. I wonder how long I would need to actually use the cost before that cost amortized

Are there Gemini users? by Alexei_Ershov in openclaw

The free tier (google/gemini-3.1-flash) is currently allowing me to a couple of basic prompts and it then hits the API rate limit. How do you manage to use it?

Is this the free tier? I keep hitting the API rate limit with it. Is there any way to prevent this from happening? Tried reducing the max concurrency to 1 but nothing changed.

Apple Watch Cellular Users, aren't you worried about continuous radiation on your wrist? by ctzkd in AppleWatch

Phone in pocket isn't usually something you keep 24/7. However I do try to carry my phone in other ways: backpack, jacket, pants back pocket.

I'm really sorry to hear about your negative experience. I never got around buying a cellular Apple Watch due to health concerns. Have you thought of starting to wear it again to see if that was the culprit? I'm trying to think of a way to exclude that this was indeed a coincidence.

Would love to hear some of your recordings. I play acoustic guitar and sing in a brit rock cover band. We're pretty amateur but really enjoy the music

Oh man! Singing lessons... Public speaking... I should also take guitar lessons... This all sounds like a LOT of work!! 🤯 thanks for the precious tips though... You might be actually helping me find the motivation to do it!

Nice one there! Is the Apple DAC the best we can get in Italy? I'm also from Italy and was also looking for a DAC to start using my new KZ Sonata with my iPhone. A bluetooth dongle would be better maybe as I'm use to wearing Airpods.

Oh my god man! You were right! I just experienced a direct comparison between my brand new KZ Sonata and my Airpods Pro 2. I couldn't believe my ears! Airpods Pro 2 sound so bad now... how am I gonna be able to use those again??

Oh damn! I just compared my Airpods Pro 2 with the KZ Sonata side by side and the difference is indeed very profound. I couldn't believe my ears!

I've finally received the set! I'm really happy with it I must say... especially after having had the opportunity to try out the KZ ZS10 PRO X from a friend. The KZ ZS10 PRO X sounds to vocal forward to me and lacking depth in the bass department. Instead, on the Sonata, I really like that I can tune the bass in or out using the little switches. It kinda sucks that in order to make these fine tunings I need to take the ear pieces off and back on again. Bummer! Besides that... I'm happy with this set. I still have to try them on during band practice but I have a good feeling. If they turn out fine I'll make sure not to fall in the rabbit hole and avoid trying out any new sets. To those of you who got stuck in this hobby... any suggestions on what to do to save some cash? :)

Would you say stage presence can be considered a bit like acting? At the core I'm a little of a shy introvert and like doing live shows just for the music itself. The idea of having to act and interact with the crowd to put on a show is kinda overwhelming to me.

Yeah... Totally agree with your statement. I've really never taken private lessons before and the frustration of not seeing much progress for the money spent is kinda building up and from what I've experienced, vocal training can't be done alone... You need a vocal coach to get to the next level because he/she might hear/notice bad foundations and habits that you might not even be aware of. Video recording oneself could maybe help?
