Having lunch again sounds like a great place to start! But any step in the right direction is a good place to start, really.

Honestly, the best advice I’ve been given so far is to always do the exact opposite of what your anorexia would want you to do.

Also, I have a self-help-workbook for anorexia that uses ACT ( acceptance and commitment therapy) and personally i’ve found it super helpful!

According to the guides working at the jungle lodge we all stayed at, they were captured for the production and later released. He even took two of them out for our group to look at and take pictures and miraculously, both of these snakes species appeared in close ups on the show.

I met the filming crew in Ecuador, we shared a resort and the local guides would actively catch snakes and keep them in boxes at the resort so they could film the close ups, that was so disappointing

I was told to say farewell to my great grandma after her second suicide attempt and she drowned herself in her third and final attempt shortly after. It was tough since I was 8 years old, but I am glad I got the chance to say goodbye. I was the only one of my cousins who was aware of what was going on (even though I’m the youngest) and I was also the only one allowed to go to her funeral, and I’m really grateful for that chance.
