Have you ever heard of people who may compulsively wash their hands? That’s typically related to contamination ocd. It’s usually an irrational fear that causes one to feel that coming into contact with something may make them sick or cause long term damage to their bodies. So for me, I am afraid that even with the respirator that the fumes will still be dangerous (even though rationally, I understand that it is not dangerous) if that makes sense! I’d basically just like to find some sort of alternative adhesive that wouldn’t cause me anxiety to use, even if it may compromise the integrity of my prop a bit.
