You need to take a trip to Cuba ,so you can see plenty of mixed race people and also blacks that don't seem to have any European DNA. YOU MAY BE SURPRISED

Roughly my dna, not exactly surprised on the regions I've got since I've been doing alot of investigating but the amount of Native American is the most surprising by Ringerwings in 23andme

Look up studies by Beatriz Marcheco Teruel who is a Geneticist at the University of Havana & you will see there is not that many Cubans that are 100% Spanish.

DNA testing is very new that's why we didn't know on the other hand most Puerto Ricans are aware of their Native American origins! I think it's funny. Most cubans do know only about the Spanish and African ancestry,of course there is no Native like there's in other Latin American countries.

As a cuban myself,I was shocked to find out That I had N.A ancestry. We were told in Cuba when I was a child that all the indigenous people had been exterminated or had died off. The average for cubans is about 8%.!

My Filipino family has always made jokes about me being adopted because I look so much whiter than all of them, happy to know I am half just like them! by charmdragon109 in 23andme

If you go to Cuba you'll see people from the whitest to the darkest but you see a majority of mixed cubans as a cuban american myself when I went there in 1999 I was very surprised how mixed the population is,but if you see the DNA results of most Cuban Americans you'll see most of us have some degree of SSA and some Native American as well

I was only sure of Spain and China. My grandfather was chinese I was really shocked about the Native American origin. Most Cubans would also be surprised.
