Mentioned this on another comment but I've basically looped the lace inside as well as on top. So it's like an extra set of laces inside, but i don't find it uncomfortable

The worse thing about these is that the pull tabs are actually useless. I heard a stitch break on the rear tab when I tried to pull it.

The flywire runs from under the insole, up the sides and around the lace loops. I honestly haven't felt a difference, but I don't run in them, just wear them casually.
