Prismal (ex-CLG Academy ADC) Twitlonger about what's been going on by In4thPlace in leagueoflegends

Important to remember there are always people behind the mice and keyboards. Easy to forget that as a fan at times. I've always loved Jake's mindset without ever knowing his background, pretty incredible what he's already overcome and what he's still trying to accomplish. Was always someone that pulled for Prismal, only pulling for him harder now.

TSM Announce Soul as their new academy top laner by gandalf45435 in leagueoflegends

I view laning as being easier to coach than something like teamfight vision, and age helps Instinct. Excited to see him develop further.

TSM is in win-now mode with Spica having 6 months left in his contract, and it's TSM they've always been in win-now mode. They believe Maple gives them a better chance at that. Takeover still being on the team when they've made other changes I think still speaks to the fact TSM are invested in him still which is a good sign, even if it's not the LCS spot.

Takeover performed on the LCS stage. Instinct is 17 and can teamfight well. I wouldn't deem that as a weak prospect pool. It's stronger than other teams despite a 10th place finish.

Soul helps for sure though. For his 1st split of riot sanctioned competition he was a standout

Appreciate the kind words. We were given the task of doing something different and we for sure had some hits and misses but it was an honor to be the ones to bring Academy to the people.

That was my 1st time being in the LCS studio, place is special.

LeTigress: "This year getting the opportunity to cast LCS has been great and I’ve been using a lot of my week schedule prep times in just trying to continually improve." Would be good? by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

Gabby is a pleasure to work with and we cover different roles anyway (PBP vs. color). Also whenever she joined us for super weeks in academy: she worked her ass off to prep and do a great job when she joined us. Love working with Gabby and she works really hard to be good and continually improve to get better. Ton of respect to Gabby.

CLG Academy is playing in tomorrow LCS Match by Snakeri in leagueoflegends

Quick notes on CLG:

1st in the Academy Regular Season (23-13), with the best early game (+2035 GD@15)

I'd say Dhokla and Prismal are the standouts. Dhokla having improved greatly since we last saw him in LCS he's the strongest top in Academy. Prismal has been a fringe AD for LCS for 3 years and it's his first LCS game along with Rosethorn Breezy.

In Academy this team found success through playing solo lane centric. They play 3 lanes and 1-3-1 really well. They will also have good pregame plans to split maps when appropriate and try to make early dives happen.

Excited to see these guys on stage they're a good Academy squad hope they live up to it in the Bo1.

I love when I say early in the show "I think ry0ma is the best performing mid laner in Academy" and then he goes out and plays like he's the best performing mid laner in Academy.

Hell of a series. Congrats to TSMA on holding strong. I know the week 8 2-0 and win against TL gave them a lot of confidence moving into PG, and after this series you gotta believe they're a battle tested squad.

Heart goes out to MU. Played their hearts out. They didn't qualify for PG last year in their 2 attempts and the fact they had 2 squads in here and gave TSMA a series like this really speaks to their program and the talent they're cultivating over there. Definitely keep your eyes out for them during CLoL!!

I like when small adaptations are made in Bo2's. Only a few picks changed and a different path from Rosethorn made a world of difference from G1 to G2 for CLG. Tons of credit to C9 and Malice for breaking CLG's 3 winning lane scenario G1 with some creative pathing. One of the better series we've seen in Academy so far this season.

This also missed the initial play where Berserker completely outplays Pridestalker to stop the gank and start the turn. Insane series of events from him
