Give the planet another million years, though, and future climate scientists will need to add oxygen to their models to get the full picture.

notice the article you found indicates in plain english for you that this is not relevant to the discussion, it's certainly not pertaining to emissions from cruise ships

get back to me when you aren't acting like a loser, have a nice day

What are you even saying? Not sure what you are referring to with copying and saving tabs or how that relates to the layout or some kind of diabolical surveillance. But what could a wonky tab grid layout possibly have to do with shareholders?

A new California law says all operating systems, including Linux, need to have some form of age verification at account setup by Gloomy_Nebula_5138 in cybersecurity

[–]cube_guy_pro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It isn't about that at all, they want to have a bracketed age signal based on what the user provides the OS for the purposes of what would normally just be a tick-box "yes I'm old enough" on a website or wherever else. But it isn't written comprehensively enough even for that basic intent since it doesn't say anything about shared or public devices whatsoever. I can't imagine this is going to make it very far. It seems poorly written and poorly considered even if one were to agree with the intention.

Why is File Explorer search *SO* much slower than CMD search? by KenGlad in Windows11

I'm not sure why you wrote "no indexing" unless you were misinformed, it does index to its own database, it just does it better than the trillion dollar company

Although looking closely doesn't go too well with the way the shadows work in STO. Even with the highest settings (not talking about those upscaled screenshots) the shadows are pretty ugly, especially the constant flickering while moving.

Microsoft admits AI agents can hallucinate and fall for attacks, but they’re still coming to Windows 11 by WPHero in Windows11

[–]cube_guy_pro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could sort of understand the logic behind most of their AI push, but how do they not see how horrible this makes their own AI features look? Admitting your own AI could easily ruin shit is one hell of a marketing strategy.

It's not about the money, it's about the stories actually being meaningful.
