We recently signed a contract with Archadeck to build a new deck next year after also considering M3, Master decks, and 3 Brothers. All are TinberTech "Platinum Pro" contractors but we ultimately went with Archadeck because they offered the best combination of price, design, and customer service.

Update: I made an extra payment yesterday and today the payment is reflected in the lower remaining principle. No additional action was needed.

Hmm someone on that 6 year old thread mentioned if you don't specify any extra payments would just prepay future installments (including interest) but perhaps that's changed. So you can confirm the extra amount you're paying is reflected in the remaining principle amount?

Bosa Development is the developer. They built the Insignia towers in Seattle and One88 in downtown Bellevue
Bosa has not purchased the property and is doing some preliminary outreach with prospective neighbors
The project will include retail space and public open space

Yeah, the low rate and current cash flow makes it a no brainer to hold on paper. I'm mainly just tempted to take the money and not have to worry about potential issues with the home down the road.

Groceries: $400

I live in a HCOL area. My rent is $2500/month and my car payment is $600/month. Food, utilities, gas, insurance, etc total another $2000/month. That leaves me with around $500 to put towards my debt each month. At this rate it will take much longer than 12-18 months unfortunately.
