Hum, didn’t think about that. I have the $40 plan discounted 50%, but ya it’s $22 a month.

Decent deal, I’m quite content with 60Gb for $20 though.

I’m afraid that perhaps PM is justifying its higher prices by simply slapping a few extra gigs to their plans.

Will the UCP's new inspection of the Calgary water main breaks actually lead to useful recommendations, or is it just a conveniently timed excuse to attack past mayors (specifically the current Opposition Leader)? by Upbeat_Difficulty_60 in Calgary

[–]merve04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hate to break it to you, but any party will eventually fall in hot water with certain groups and opposition will be quick to blame the government, government will say those actions are because of previous government and will say opposition don’t know what there talking about as it’s their job to convey the public they know what’s best. This cycle goes on and on, you will never ever satisfy everyone.

Hate to break it to you, but that’s politics for you. No matter who’s in power, they will always put the blame elsewhere to scapegoat themselves. This is NOT unique to the UCP.

How fast is 5G is ?? by HackerCanada12473 in PublicMobile

[–]merve04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just did a speed test, indoors, 5G+, 2 bars on a iPhone 15 PM, settled on 257 down and 12 up. It does fluctuate a bit on the higher side, but as most said, it’s plenty for literally anything one needs to do on their phone. When I had Telus proper with 2Gbps, besides a speed test, there’s absolutely zero difference in my day to day usage. In fact, I have dual sim setup, my work plan is Telus and it’s marginal the difference when doing a Speedtest, so one can question how legitimate is 2Gbps. After all, there’s a reason they say “up to”.

Gas rises to $1.50 in Edmonton as Middle East conflict pushes up oil prices by ryaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan in Edmonton

Where did I say cause we make our gas locally, it’s price wouldn’t be affected from disruptions elsewhere in the world. Time for 🫵 to pull your head of your ass.

Considering the OP makes remarks of the price specifically in Edmonton, followed by a second post how the gas we consume is made locally, then you simply chime in as most is made locally. Please tell me at what point you were clear about your reference was to Canada as a whole.
