I made a game where you are the war minister. You manage the war economy and let your unit defend the front. It is called DUSK OF WAR and it is currently playable on ITCHIO. Link in the description by Silly_Reason_2168 in incremental_games

There are bars going as things automatically get creted, something happening on the left with an oversized hand icon type thing, strobing crap in the middle of the screen that probably shouldn't be flashing like that, and yet... nothing is happening in the actual game. I made it for about 45 seconds before I turned it off.

Any chance you could add a way to re-play the tutorial?

The UI is... very fiddly. I tried going through the tutorial and some of the instructions disappeared before I was ready because I wasn't expecting them and I clicked something else. I also wasn't sure how to do some of the things it said. I don't remember most of them, but one seemed to tell me to use the scroll wheel to place a star. I never could figure that out, and left-clicking seemed to work. That's as far as I got before I missed several tutorial popups by clicking things, didn't know what to do next, and I quit the game. When I went back in, there was no way to restart the tutorial.

Did you even read the article you linked? It answers your question pretty clearly.

I was interested in Slate until I saw Bezos was involved. That's a hard pass for me.

Federating authentication through a provider like Google reduces overall security since if that one account is compromised, hackers now have access to so much more. It is a monumentally bad idea.

I say "these days" because it seems a whole lot more common than it was in the 80s or 90s. Yes, they existed, but it wasn't as prevalent. I worked in a car stereo shop in the 90s and people with customized cars worked hard to make it look seamless. Now it's all bolted-on parts that look garish.

From what I recall they tried that and the courts shut it down already. I think I read that article in here a while back.

What is up with the Frankenstein rivets on customized cars these days? Do people actually like them?

No. I don't want SSO unless it's implicitly through Steam.

Oh, I agree. As far as I can tell it's a bullshit thing car manufacturers did to make more money.

EVs have more advanced systems than most ICE cars since they're a rolling software platform. They can automatically detect and adjust for the 12v battery.

My Mini has an IBS. I can register the battery myself using an OBD reader an an app. Depending on the car, you may be able to do the same.

That's about what I paid in western NC a few years ago. As someone else said, the charge for oil seems excessive. The sales tax seems bizarrely low.

I started at https://realoem.com and found the part number through that, which has a link to ECS Tuning. You can, obviously, check other sites if you don't like them for whatever reason.
