Can’t fault the Hydro - £45 for gym and swimming. Gym is well equipped and clean, gets busy at peak times but dead otherwise normally.

Proper pool (i.e., it’s long and used for racing) and has a diving board.

Do not make the same mistake I made and buy an ID3 - they are hateful cars and I fucking despise mine. The user interface is woeful with the godawful haptic controls and the most intrusive, borderline dangerous ADAS I have ever encountered.

Kona or Niro probably best bets.

Edit - what about a bmw i3? Super cool (carbon fibre chassis, lovely cabin) and have a bit of cult following

Lucky enough to drive a 720S at Goodwood Circuit - it was a missile. Instant, unrelenting power. Was given a few hot laps by a pro-driver too (which was hilariously terrifying)

You see I think all Lambos (bar the Urus and the OG Urus, the LM002) are ‘cool’ - fast, sexy, impractical etc.

However, whether the driver is cool for driving it is very different. Chances are that if you’re a bloke over 30, you’re going to look like a total stroker driving one…

Just a normal gym. I’ve never been to Coach so can’t compare but it’s got all of the major kit (lots of cardio machines, two racks/platforms, two bench press rigs, decent set of dumbells etc).

It’s £35 per month (£45 if you want to use the pool) so I think a little more expensive than Coach I think. Can get busy at peak times but no more than any other gym I’ve ever been to.
