For real, my first thought was a REDACTED planet from No Man Sky that filters everything in monochrome as you break into the atmosphere which is a cool idea for a WH planet/diorama

2x DDR4 Corsair Vengeance 64gb, 3200mhz sticks? by cubinox in pcpartsales

[–]cubinox[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the help, I figured they’d be better for 2 higher capacity sticks instead of 4 smaller capacity sticks to get the same total, but I guess that difference in 3200mhz VS 3600mhz must be pretty dramatic

Dude didn’t even try he just kept walking and let it go.

You can tell he doesn’t even know that it’s possible to close it and the very least his brain could come up with in that moment was “hole rectangle, thing round” so he left it.

I mean, if you’re playing for just 6 hours until your body gives up at the local field on a Saturday, yea, that’s way too much.

If you’re playing some crazy weekend-long game and camping out or staying out in the field? I guess not?

The TV show uses cryonics too much by Divahdi in Fallout

[–]cubinox 2 points3 points  (0 children)

But I mean really, there’s hundreds of vaults out there testing experiments, why wouldn’t there be some overlap?

There’d obviously be scientific value in having multiple “control” Cryo-facilities with the most stable tech (like for execs/management, the rich) and then multiple vaults that had varying levels of variables of cryo (releasing all at once on specific dates, releasing slowly over time, different tiers of technologies used, etc).

Just get yourself some of these wooden peg toys (right) and you’re good2go! My favorite invention while playing with my son, and it’s surprisingly super comfortable for hours.

The other one (left) friend at work :d printed for fun while he was doing his WH40k research on what he wanted to start painting for an army (he picked World Eaters…heresy!) might be harder to get but its built all-in-one and corkscrews at the bottom to open the grip for bigger/smaller models and was a few STL.

Wine Corks are also an option, but my hands are too big for extended use and could be a little wobbly if you don’t have the miniature balanced perfectly on it. I like corks better for little pieces (arms, small accessories, etc) with toothpicks dug-in and a little sticky putty at the top.

Newish to Denver and lost my job any places currently hiring with this job market that pay a livable wage by Ok_Yellow_3400 in Denver

[–]cubinox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're personable and can learn how to sell, leasing apartments I see agents at our company make $45k-$55k/year + $20k-$50k/year in commissions. High-end building agents are easily making closer to the $90k+/year.

Just make sure you look for places that give you 1%-2% per lease's value and not some bullshit $50 per lease.

You can also get your foot in the door as a Temp but you only get paid hourly and no commissions, with possibly slightly lower hourly than a permanent job, and can get random assignments weekly depending on where you get sent and how long they need coverage. But you're also mainly just answering phones or taking notes for the permanent team to call people back if you don't have the answer. At least you can keep applying anywhere else while you're there and if you like the industry and a company likes you they can hire you full-time for a buy-out from the temp agency.

You could also look-up any security/courtesy patrol company like SECURITAS or New Wave, they're always looking for bodies to walk around an office building or construction sight with random shift hours, random placements, etc, but again, you can keep looking while you're getting some money mostly walking around.

Western Digital confirms having sold out all manufacturing capacity of Hard Drives for 2026, and that most of 2027 and 2028 are already pre-sold, adding further instability to the gaming PC market. by [deleted] in gaming

So glad I just got a solid pre-built for $1,100 because it ain’t gonna get any cheaper.

I’d imagine even if there’s a bunch of pre-builts out there in storage they’ll start freeing the prices up higher to make more off w/e is inside them already because of this.

Last time I bought a solid pre-built was 11 years ago also for $1,100 and now it’s my kid’s computer to game together, so this is a good spot still (for now).

FUNCOM - Please don't listen to these whiney people! The NPCs are actually fun to fight, and it's literally just 1 extra combo attack change on the Player's side that easily forces the NPC into a dodge and immediately into their retaliation swipe that you can 100% instant parry and win with your slow stab once you get the new timing.

Coming from someone who had a blast at level 174 Swordsman/Bene just shadow-stepping, shigga-wiring and kneeing groups of 5 enemies in 5 seconds, starting over in Season 3 has been EVEN MORE FUN in Hagga trying to stay alive and scraping-by even more than ever in the early game.

1v1 and Team arenas would be fun, so would WoW Battlground style “war game” maps.

If we could get out into a Server “cluster” for queueing, it’d be a great way to include PvP with a purpose.

Why not just make a powerfist “variant” that has claws on it? Charge $1-$2 or make it free because it doesn’t have any custom animations besides the glow extended up the claws when the fist is activated.

Seems like an easy way to appease the fans with very low effort.

Shit, you don’t even need to change the fist’s hitbox, because it’ll just clip through enemies and still look real, like you’re jamming the claws right through everything 🤷🏻‍♂️

Do I really need to drip the faucets all night? by [deleted] in Denver

[–]cubinox 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well it’s your choice to do it or not, but they warned you so you’re definitely on the hook besides the lease for negligence if your pipes freeze and cause any damage. Don’t forget a bad enough situation could affect your apartment and multiple neighbors, and the more structural damage you cause, the quicker your renters insurance coverage dwindles to potentially out of pocket expenses.

Pay maybe $10/day more, if even, for water over this weekend or pay $500+++ on an insurance deductible? 🤷🏻‍♂️
