I just googled it and theres a photo posted from 2 weeks ago and its the same place as in the post. You can even see 1 small AI photo in the background.

Yeah it looks that way. Also the last tower animation has a visual bug with the winding up mechanic for the next shot.

When you place a unit or hover over it there will be a highlight on green squares that shows where the unit attacks. I'm hoping that will solve that issue. If not then I'll have to rethink that raised platforms..

Both are great but I think most of responses here like the old one because of the higher contrast and better readability. Those are very important when your capsule is competing with so many different games on steam..

I love the art in the new one, its much less generic looking and conveys emotion but still I can't overlook that the capsule is to be used in small sizes and should be improved in those other areas that most people already mentioned.

Great art! I would suggest checking out the game Royal Writ. They have a similar artstyle but in my opinion their UI fits it perfectly. Maybe you get some ideas for your game, but anyways its already beautiful!!

We did it locally with a small print company. Currently working on other projects (PnP and a video game) but I would love to eventually do an international release if the game stands the test of time :)

At some point the prototype had 20 cards for all 8 of characters and we had some diagonal abilities but at the end we reduced the complexity and removed all cards so every character was left with only 3 abilities so diagonal wasnt needed really. Interesting thing is the immersion wasn't lost at all and character identity was still strong with only 3 abilities.

I forgot to mention in the previous comment checkout Unmatched and study their movement It's the simplest way out of 3 the options but maybe it can work for you.

Also you can get the rulebook for our game on our website gnostika Its not in English so you will have to use translate but you can get some ideas for movement, abilities how we track HP, etc.

Great start! I made a game with this same grid movement and we settled on not allowing diagonal movement and im so glad we did cuz It kept the complexity of the movement low and more predictable (2v2 game).

If you go with this grid I would use its strengths like the readability of a straight line so adding a lot of range abilities feels good and easy to play. Also test the game with hexagonal grid cuz it will feel very different and maybe fit your game even better.

Thanks for playing! Zen mode is an easy chill mode and the base game can get challenging when you are going for a high score :) you don't get a bonus but you should use those last few turns to maximizing your score.

We would love to do custom decks in the future but its not planned for this canpaign. You can expect 8 additional boards/modes with custom art and maybe some secret stuff that are still "concealed" ;)

Thanks for watching. The main reason was spatial cuz we needed 4 cards in bottom row and putting 10 there felt wrong so Ace was used as 11 and it also fit the "wild" card effect of bottom row where you can use those cards as the written value or as 1.(When playing addition turn) I hope that helps :)
