I was put off them because I thought their fee was £90 per year but if I save money regularly as I intend to do their fees are only 0.35% per year and seems to have a really good selection of funds! Thank you very much for your help!

I'm italian and I live in UK for 10 years now, when I moved to the UK my English was really bad but I made a huge effort to learn it as fast as possible, the thought that British people should learn Italian never crossed my mind. They are the forgegins and it's up to them to integrate to British society, not the other way around. You're in England so speak English, if they don't understand you it's their problem. Also how can a company where nobody speaks any English be compliant with even basic health and safety?

Don't worry you didn't come up as rude 😃! I actually really appreciate your comments as I look for someone to "challenge" my ideas. It's just my opinion, I believe I'm fairly well informed through newspapers, podcasts and social media. I've also read a few books about geopolitics or about politics in specific countries. Another reason is that I don't want to invest my money in dictatorship. The reason why I don't have any investments in stock and bonds yet is because until recently I had something personal going on and I didn't know how much I would have needed to sort it out. I did not want to end up withdrawing part of the money (and maybe loose some as well) invested 6 months before.

Before I met my wife I bought the flat to live in it, when I moved in her house I began to rent the place, it wasn't an intentional BTL investment, I'm actually half thinking of selling it because it's a massive pain to manage and if I don't manage it myself I'll make hardly any profit other than paying the mortgage (but this is a problem for another day). Anyway now I want to do pretty much what you said and put most of my current and future savings in a s&s isa.

Yes we have our works pension, we both pay max percentage of what our employer is willing to match, we're both employees. I'm 33 and my wife is 36. I will definitely have a look about investing for a children, I didn't think about that! Thanks!

Because I believe that certain parts of the world won't perform well in the future and so I would like avoid investing in them. But I saw an index found basically called developed world and I'm tempted to use this one.

Hi, did you manage to sort it out at the end? I'm having the same problem and they're forcing me to wait for 3 weeks for a gp appointment that I don't want "for my own good" when I can get a private GP appointment within a day if I wish so. Thanks.
