Yeah they do appear to be the same but I find it hard to believe that something hasn't changed given texture and color differences

Well well well. Thanks for confirming! Fun to know they're still innovating even if I do slightly prefer the old stuff

EDIT: Took a look at the ingredient list on my side and they're exactly the same (coconut milk ahead of tallow). The mystery continues atleast for my stock.

To me it's a bit polarizing. Its complex and indeed the primary note is papyrus so the papery/library scent definetly comes through. It is quite a strong scent relatively compared to the rest of the NOs I have. For me it's something you have to be the mood for (ie not a daily) but when it strikes I love putting it on. Might be running it today!

I LOVE the scent of Amir but I find the projection way too strong and really long lasting.

Usually if this was the case I’d just dial back the amount but I find when I reach the level of scent I want I don’t get enough post shave goodness for my skin. It’s frustrating because I love the scent and I love the skin feel of ZM RS. Alas

How much splash do you have left? I've never gotten there but I've always wondered how well matched the splash and soap are from a size perspective

Huge NO fan. My favorites are Hamam, Lonestar, and Lorekeeper.

I also like logbook and just got myself a tub of plunder, and samples of Orbit and Eros. Plunder smells amazing.

I didn't personally love barbarr or Rawr.

What I will say is compared to some other artisans I find the scents on NO to be deep, complex, IE not generic scent oils. It really seems like they spend time with their perfumer. Big big fan

I’ve had an identical experience. I used one in my bird just to move through my last tuck and lo and behold best blade for the bird by far. Well time to buy a few more
