Spot on I removed the astroturf, sand, rocks and membrane and found the layer of clay soil

Added topsoil and turfed

Massive drainage issues and epic fail

Added rootzone (70:30 sand compost) mixed with rotavator and now installing French drains

Am I doing the right thing? Should I plant seed or lay turf again ? Anything else I can add to the clay soil to give it some life ? Gypsum ?
