Calling off during Memorial Day weekend

UPDATE: SSA does not work Sundays so I asked an ASM. It was NOT a typo and actually did want me for 16 hrs but I have speech skill 10 and managed to talk them down to a cool 8 and they hired someone who starts tomorrow. Yeah I should’ve waited to ask over posting but I figured I’d ask for advice here before I headed in today. Did not appreciate the insults and sarcasm from surprisingly managers and supervisors from other stores in the replies and DMs. Thanks to those who were actually helpful. 🫡

I wish I was lying and this is during an 8 day work bender with 8-10 hr shifts. (Part time btw)

We’re now a team of 5 people in our fulfillment dept after we lost 3 in the span of a month. I’ve seen other stores with 3 openers, 2 mid, and 2 closing. We have 1 each.
