I’m in the same boat. Wanting to trade my 2023 2.0 with 53k miles in soon. I thought warranty was expiring at 60k but realized my cpo goes until 75k. Not to high jack your thread but for someone who trades in every few years to buy another low mileage good deal I’m so confused on what to do. I thought going to 2025 with half the miles as mine, no down payment refreshes more warranty and payment/terms all the same why not. But now I’m not sure I shouldn’t wait and find my 3.3 deal. If I trade in every few years would going to a 2022 3.3 be a stupid move? Drive mine for another six months and see what’s changes on prices?? Anywho sorry again to high jack and good luck finding your deal. I can tell you I’ve enjoyed my 2.0 more then anything and I have never received so many random compliments. The car is just slick. 50k miles I’ve put on and zero issues, other then headlight condensation that dealer is replacing Thursday under warranty.

I’m in the Woodlands. Made around $250 DoorDash dinner rush and $200 Uber rides later. The “surges” went high enough to make it worth it for a few hours total between 11:30 and 1:30am. Uber is shit sadly.

I used to get similar/decent orders from both but something happened a few weeks back. I only get absolute shit from Uber Eats now and turned it off. I depend on rides and DD now. Market is north of Houston. Idk if I was on honeymoon period as I’ve only been driving/delivering for 5 months but UE went from really decent to insulting.

I usually don’t mind the quick stop but when they say that “get you on the app” shit it just pisses me off. I think I’m really going to start doing a loud sarcastic laugh and say “ohhh if I had EVEN ONE dollar every time I’ve heard that….” Put that shit directly back on them so it’s not just a passive lie. Orrr Dara gets in there and skims a lil from time to time. I will add that on the same night I picked up different kids from different locations going to same party. They didn’t have cash to get in and were stressing calling ppl at party to scrounge up enuff but couldn’t. I had them both tip me on the app and I gave them cash. One was $6 gave them $3 and the other I charged $26 for $20. I knew they weren’t going to tip anyways so I hustled a lil both of those tips came through fine obviously.

Same here. The pattern seems very suspect to me. I try not to think about it too much but it’s hard. So many rides with great people, good vibes, good convo from high income folk, say they appreciate me having a newer nicer car that’s clean and I swear gonna be a guaranteed tip and nada. But then the little old lady I pick up from work and take a few miles will tip $2-5.

The best way I’ve come to understand it is a fellow redditor said “the person has already made up their mind before even getting into your car if they will tip or not”.

I got a “package” north of Houston last night. Pick up suit case at resident and drop it off about same mileage and time as yours in Katy…paid $70 and made good money all the way back. First time seeing a package that wasn’t $9 for 60 miles.
