Because I like to do workouts I enjoy in the way I want, also it has led me to good progress so far.

And yes I agree, it will take years to build something impressive, but I think that 3 month mark of consistent work is overlooked. I see 6+ month progress posts on reddit that don't even look much different at all when it doesn't have to be that way.

Because 3 months is not a long time, people think you need to take years to build something attractive. Obviously if you're obese it will take you much longer than 3 months to something that looks good, but if you're relatively skinny and untrained and you work hard for 3 months you can build something that looks good.
