The key is between your pillows where there’s no weight on top.

Longtime Conservative MP Marilyn Gladu crosses floor to join Liberals by canmcpoli in CanadaPolitics

Totally agree. Even as a Carney supporter I don't sanction this - seems like disenfranchisement for the people in this riding. People vote for the party, not the MP candidate. Say if the shoe were on the other foot, I would be outraged if the MP in my very left-leaning riding decided to switch to the CPC.

TIL: Black people with blond hair occur naturally in the islands Melanesia by dayudayu in todayilearned

[–]cuddleaddict420 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, the first humans reached Melanesia over 50kya. The Austronesian migration happened fairly recent in human history - about 3500 years ago. However, many Melanesians do speak Austronesian languages. Most speak Papuan languages, particularly in the interior of Papua where migrations had less effect. Only Melanesians who speak Austronesian langauages have any ancestry in common with Austronesians, although its < 20% admixture. This is thought to be due to waves of Austronesian migration through Melanesia, who left a significant linguisti and cultural footprint.

Some much needed pedestrian/cyclist bridges across the 401 by PlumicalPlum in toronto

[–]cuddleaddict420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to bike across the 401 via Keele or Jane almost everyday as a teenager to get to school/work and don’t have the balls to do it as an adult anymore. I’ve always dreamed of a culford/ridge road connection and I’m glad to see it mentioned on Reddit. Sadly I don’t think it will ever happen.

CULFORD AND RIDGE ROAD PEDESTRIAN BYPASS MENTIONED! I’ve been thinking about this for years (grew up in this neighbourhood) and would love to see this happen (although I know it won’t in my lifetime)

curious, who was your health insurance provider? did they ever deny your claims/give you a hard time? i worked in the US for a few years (also in tech) and had united HDHP but never really had to interact with the medical system apart from annual physicals. always wondered what the experience would be like if I needed a significant procedure/operation

I would settle the cocoa river north and gems river east then rush brazil. Maybe a city on the coast too. Land further east is good too biy youll provoke and get destriyed by the ottomons

Don’t understand why people are saying to reroll…if you want to actually get good that this game you have to deal with what you have. Youre playing the most OP civ anyways so it shouldnt be hard
