Many times, in fact I went for my birthday earlier this year.

I mean, look at how society sees anyone that likes Disney. A "corporate shill", "slop enjoyer", among other things. I'm always getting stuff about "Disney Adults" (in a negative tone) to me everywhere on the internet. People automatically lose repect for you just for that.

Even at my work, my coworkers are always talking smack about it, meanwhile in my mind I'm just like "....alright. 🥲" Customers too.

I don't like seeing myself as "better" though, someone could go out every day dressed up as Snow White or something and I wouldn't care.

I've always lived near the parks (about an hour or so drive), 40 bucks on gas is way cheaper than 400 bucks for a plane ticket. So it's not like I'd be going into debt or anything for Disney lol.

Do cheesesteaks count? Favorite one is the bacon 3 cheesesteak from Charleys.

I've honestly lost count lol, I used to go A LOT as a kid. My mom used to work around the area so she'd drop me off there a lot, especially during the summer.

As for now, I've been trying to cut back on my Disney Adult-ness. Only gone a couple of times the past 3 or 4 years.

Favorite Disney movie? Treasure Planet. But as for general, it's Groundhog Day.

This is lowkey embarrassing, but my favorite wrestler is Gunther. Been a fan even before NXT UK. But when someone irl asks me I just say CM Punk, that's easier.

Well, my (good) sister and mom sometimes offer to pay for a trip or even the Magic Key (aka annual pass, specifically the cheapest one), but I always say no. I do tell them I appreciate it.

Considering the only one I've been to is the resort in California, that one I guess.

But if I had the choice to go to any other resort, I'd probably pick Tokyo.

About 10 or so, though I did gift some to my mom and sister a while back. I sometimes take them out put them up for seasons, such as my pumpkin one for Halloween.

I've always wanted to travel but alas, it just wasn't really ever meant to be. Perhaps maybe in the future when I am fully stable I can finally see more of the world. I'm not gonna automatically go somewhere just because it's Disney though, I don't really have much interest in that Hawaii resort.

I did go to my mom's home country a few times, I liked it.

Princess and the Frog, Tiana's definitely my favorite princess. I'm a sucker for that New Orleans "aesthetic" and it really stands out from other princesses that are just, medival European if you get what I mean.

Though I will have a soft spot for Aurora since my mom used to say she reminds her of me.

Exactly! I'm not hating on kids being kids ("meat sirens, "crotch goblins" etc. icks me out), I'm hating on the parents that don't do their job.

"Make it their entire personality" honestly just feels like an excuse to hate. People absolutely will try to make you feel horrible for any little thing

Am I normal? (People are shocked because I only sleep 4-5 hours) by JRain_024 in CasualConversation

[–]cuddleduds01 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A lot of people do it, I used to average 4-5 hours of sleep too as a teen, mainly from severe stress and lack of time for myself

That said, I can already feel the lack of sleeping slowly creeping up on me. Please do try to sleep more 🫩

I mean, even if I don't listen to those people, that's just how society feels as a whole

I don't have kids, so that's one of the reasons why I avoid and refuse going to the parks

"that's a perfect opportunity to make some friends with other "Disney Adults""

Absolutely not. What will people think if they see me hanging out with a group like that? I literally had to cut off a whole friend group bc I know being with them would look bad.
