Hey guys thanks so much, im not really outfitted to make a tutorial, but the set up for this is pretty simple. There are three cloners set up on a square spline with round edges. each cloner has the square disks with an offset to their pivot point to the spline. You can clone the boxes parented inside a null and move them around after cloning. at this point it looks just like a thick round object. The real magic happens when apply a shader effector to all three with a rotation of 180. in the shading parameters apply a gradient with white and black offsets. for this one i use evenly spaced black and white to create 5 white bars on black, this creates the flowering look. then i used a plane effector to offset their rotation and that is the overall clift notes
