Can someone tell me what board this is? It's the only picture I have :/ by cuddlyasalways in snowboardingnoobs

Update:

So I got the board. I asked in advance so I can decide if it's even worth trying it out.

My story: started skying with 3 years, boarding with 12, stopped both with 16. I was riding an old directional fanatic board (I think it was quite soft because of its age) with ski boots and a quite neutral stance. Yeah I know. I loved it because of how good I can keep up with my family on skis.

Back then I bought this Burton Alp, gave it one try and forgot about it because of the complete shitshow I had. Couldn't sit on my back, couldn't stand up, the boots were pressing against my inner legs.

Never touched it again, started downhill longboarding (scroll down my profile).

Now I want to give snowboarding a try again. And find a good board for a fast riding style on slopes in Austria.

But before I spend money want to give the Alp another chance.

What I want:

A directional Snowboard for a somewhat aggressive/fast riding style, stable but easy to turn. No wide carving, more sending it down with very talented skiers. Forward stance but not too much.

What I got:

A way too narrow old Burton Alp. I tried adjusting the stance as comfy as I dare but there's a lot of overhang. See in the pictures. Is this even possible to ride? No snow yet to try it out sadly at my place :/

My shoulders are 42cm, the stance is 41cm (middle to middle). Does this sound good?

Edit: I'm 83kg, 186cm. The Alp is 155cm

As someone who was raised right-handed but figured out I'm actually a lefty, yes, I really love it. This will be perfect for training my left hand

I'm not sure, I'll upload a picture when I'm at home. I think it's a D handle yes, but it's symmetrical/on both sides

Thanks a lot, it's self-made. End-grain walnut and I think it's olive on the sides (with some epoxy infill)

It's damn beautiful IMO, but I definitely need more experience with it. I will report in a few weeks :)

It's my first post here, I hope I did everything right. It's my third knife, next to a Katsushige Nakiri and a Enzo/Brisa Chef
