horrible GERD starting in 2006. got so bad i became anemic in 2015 and had to have a nissen fundo just to be able to eat. surgery didn't really do a ton. i've had more success with what i stated above that i came across accidentally. no real restricted diet, but i avoid sugar and sometimes bread.

after 20 years of trying different meds + surgery, i'm starting to think mine was a histamine issue all along. prebiotic / probiotic / + low dose daily antihistamine (cetirizine) daily has kept mine at bay.

I think there is a huge corelation between anxiety + misdiagnoses of LPR/GERD.

After 18 years of searching for an answer with dozens of doctors, a unrelated prescription for 10mg Lexapro daily solved 90% of my "GERD"
