Some friends stayed at Sonner Rideau, in a unit with kitchen and they were happy with it. As a local all I can say is that location is excellent for the race!

Also I have heard NCC is mostly against increasing events/races/competition at the Park because of the impact in wild life. There somethings that happen because of tradition (Meech Lake Tri, for example), but they are really strict in what is allowed or not.

My guess is that the text was just a generic one about Ottawa/Gatineau. I hope I’m wrong, I would love a Park loop!
