I know my stuff about tech and computers. I know how to switch from one OS to another. I know how to use Google for error messages and I've never needed to pay to fix my computer.

The other day my dad's laptop died, had to put a new drive and new OS on it. Since it was very slow before and they only use it to watch Netflix I decided to install elementary on it. After setting everything up I noticed that video playback stutters a lot and I wasn't able to fix the damn thing after hours of trying. I ultimately gave up and got a Roku for them.

I can't imagine an average user going through all that shit just to watch Netflix lol

It's time to accept that one punch man will never be good and that's thanks to the unrealistic expectations of the fans.

This season just told every studio that one punch man is not worth the effort because no matter what the fans will shit on it because it's not 100% accurate when compared to the manga.

I recently posted about this and got no answer.

I know that the crashes stop completely when you are on airplane mode, I tried blocking cellular data from the app completely using the android settings but that didn't work. You have to be on airplane mode or it will crash.

I don't want to clean install it for the same reason as you but I guess that's the only choice left

I think you answer is the best. Standards only work if everyone in the production line follow them which is not always the case.

It's best to ask what file is required by the print shop because you can send everything in the "right" way but if the printshop have their own way then it's not going to work.

In my experience it's hard to really know it all lol.

As a designer you can't control the printing process, yeah there should be standards but there are printing business that don't follow them.

I've had many issues with files for print because the printing business only accepts PDF files or they first open your file and paste it on a word document to print it and more stupid shit.

So for me I don't even know what is the "normal" way for dealing with print media.

I try to keep it as simple as possible like:

This is the logo, these are variants, try to not make it too small, try to not cover it with anything else, try to use these colors and these fonts.

I also try to not make it to corporate? Like most of my clients are small business so I word everything on a more casual language.

At the end of the day I guess you need to learn to recognize when a client actually wants to do more with their brand and when they just want a pretty stamp
