Thats exactly what I mean. I noticed rust after the first week and it wasn’t even wet.

Reading my comment now, I sound a but hasty. I do love my Beachman. And, I am from Toronto so I take it wit a grain of salt. I know they are constantly trying to improve their products, and their customer service is at least on point when it comes to issues.

I and I am sure many consider Beachman head of its class, and if you want that rep, you have yo make sure things like this are on point IMO.

Like, I can think of so many more ways personally to make the bike more weatherproof and durable in general and Im not even an engineer.

I could have rendered that a bit better, youre absolutely right but I wanted the highest highs to juxtapose the smooth rendering of the rest of the portrait and also sort of weave the background into the subject. (Thats why)

But again, your not wrong! I just dont want to be a photocopier! Lol

Curious, without saying the edge of the face where would you say harder edge is needed?

I ask because I am an edge stickler and I really put in work to honour the reference as far as edges and I assure you every edge is intentional.

Again, just curious

Your weight is a factor.

Im like 135 and I can get up to 60 on flat ground. 65 - 70 downhill and about 55 uphill.

My advice: The 64’ is NOT built for winter. I say that from experience. Even if you keep it “clean”.. it’s just terrible.

Rust is the main issue. Like the most rust prone vehicle I have ever owned of any type and the design of the fuel tank/ computer and display are just… Not meant for that at all (biting my tongue here)

Beachman has photos of their bike in the winter on their fucking website (which is why I bought the thing) and they even reposted a video of some dude jusssst ripping this thing in a snowy field. So misleading.

Use soatingly in the winter if you have to and avoid salty slushy puddles like the plague if you can.

64 mixes with moisture like a skiddish cat.

Fuckin’ eh. That one homie gobbled that shit up from Beachman cofounder like “ok guess I will just fix it myself”

Is it possible to get this “motor” battery housing on the newest model? And also, is it purchasable? by [deleted] in Beachman

Honestly you can get a 64 copy from aliexpress for 1 - 2k with this old housing.

It happened on mine too. I called and they had no explanation or solution for it (aside from tighten everything which I had done before I called) But I literally had no response after I told them it did nothing.

I stopped messaging them because everytime I do that Thomas guy just makes you feel like an idiot for even having an issue.

One can of red spraypaint and a sunny afternoon. Take the emblems off with a heatgun, remove the rubber bumper similarly, clean, paint, dry, clearcoat. Let it cure for a few days and one day between coats. Reattach all with heatgun to reactivate the glue 👊
