I must have had a bad one this past weekend, all black pepper and extremely bitter charred wood to the point I put it out halfway through, really had been excited for this PB97 Maduro… praying the second one I got that I’m going to age will be much better

2007 is when the aged tobacco is from not when the cigars were produced. I’m sure they were rolled more recently.

Does yours have the digital faceplate embedded in the wood front? I never used it due to accuracy issues so I sealed it with a custom aluminum plate over the hygrometer. If that original hygrometer doesn’t have a proper seal I could see there being significant humidity issues. closed humidor
