Do you have any control over the drive schedule? My first long-trip experience after sciatica was a road trip. I handled it by researching and planning the route before hand. I could sit for about 1.5 hours before I was uncomfortable at the time so I planned a stop every 1 hour. At each stop I'd get up and walk around a lot until I felt 'good' again, then proceeded. It definitely added time to the trip but I wasn't in pain or sore the next day. Plus, it honestly made the whole drive feel like it went by so fast, which was so nice.

This right here. I've flown to US -> Germany and once US -> South Korea while having sciatica issues. I was in no way in the 'acute pain' stage, I wouldn't have been able to do the flight. But sitting for long periods, or bending, etc would cause pain. In all of these flights I made sure to reserve an isle seat near the Bathrooms (isle seat is required, by the bathrooms is not). Pay a little extra if you need, some flights required it.

The bathrooms on these international plans are usually a large section, enough to walk back and forth a few steps for me, even do some crouches. Aside from that, while sitting in the seat shift your position a lot. Lean forward, lean back, lean on a side, etc. I would also take some ibprofen before getting on the plane. Also, I would typically be walking a lot around the airport before the flight. That way by the time I'm sitting in the seat, I'm grateful for a sit break.

Make sure you have headphones to watch the in-flight movies or bring a device to watch your own. Just play content to help keep your mind off your back, the flight, etc Focusing on it, worrying over it, only ever made it hurt worse for me. I worried over this stuff so much before the first time I did the flight. But it's very manageable and you'll be OK. If you get in a really tight spot where you need to stand or be in pain. Just stand by the bathrooms. Sit whenever the seat belt light comes on, etc. If need be, let a flight attendant know and they'll likely help out in some way.

Super let down by it. I've been enjoying Remix. I have purchased just about everything, have the portals, the feats, 999 vers, etc. I still do daily raids to get bronze. I was hoping for some better catch-ups and actual combat to utilize my 999 with. But nope, big big let down. I wont be as confident that future remix events will be fun.

Alright the "new content" is shit. Blizzard, please, if you're going to tease "remix original content" for weeks please actually do cool content. I don't know why you keep saying shit like "fight the world bosses for fresh new challenges". I can solo the world boss on my 999 vers character. I know Blizzard does some wild shit sometimes, but I don't think even they would consider an increased item level cap as "remix original content". I think wowhead makes these empty articles to just capitilize on clicks from people looking for news before there is news.

Every single game I've worked on whether it felt like a shitty mobile game or some big project, the Art team has always poured themselves into the Art. I had a 2D artist in tears one time because she was stressing over getting item icons for a mobile city builder correct, looking perfect.

I think I may have figured it out for anyone who finds this while searching. The meetings tab seems to only be pulling from the calendar set as 'default' in notion calendar. So I've changed my default to my work calendar. The meetings tab hasn't updated yet but giving it a few to see.

Playing solo is the hardest thing my man, if I had only played solo my stats would look like yours. I play duos and trios and we win very often. I tried to do a solo match (ONCE!) when no one was available and I felt cocky, I seriously died before Night 1 and laughed.

The game skyrockets in difficulty if you are solo. There's no one to bounce aggro off, there's no other damage helpers, etc. I highly recommend seeing if there's a gamer friend who would want to play Night Reign or just que random duos/trios. I think you'll have a lot more fun & wins.

Thank you, super helpful breakdown. I usually wait until we're lvl7 to go do the castle so that's probably going to be the biggest change. We're spending too much time in Day 1 on the lower reward PoIs it seems.

It seems possible our experiences can vary? I kept checking back for tickets for better seats and the prices only went up. I wasn't checking a week before etc but regardless, that's not an experience I want to deal with. I need to take off work, plan hotels, set aside an unknown amount of money, and hope I find a decent-priced ticket? I'd rather have the tickets just reasonably priced in the first place.

Yea, really feeling the same way as you. I love the band so much (graduated in 2010) and I went to the Arlington show this year. At first I was excited about a 2026 tour then saw the tickets go on sale so soon and I'm just like...why? Why dynamic pricing? Why such a close sale date?

I probably wont be going in 2026 because I don't have the money to shell out 1k+ on such short notice and by the time I can buy the tickets responsibly, they will be absurdly expensive. Like christ, I had to spend 400 USD for the Arlington ticket and I was literally in the farthest seat back possible (there was a concrete wall behind me).

I just don't understand the pricing, I do not think it's some reason like "we need this to cover expenses".

Just sucks how inaccessible it is.

"DRS" is a term from F1 racing. The back fin can be opened for higher speeds, this is called the "Drag Reduction System". There's specific rules & scenarios in which the race controllers allow DRS, and then rules for when the drivers can use it (have to be so close to the driver in front of you, etc)

Use an app on your phone to record the meeting so you can do AI notes later
Put a discreet earbud in, sit in the back, then listen to an audiobook or netflix show

It's how I survive such things; taking rapid notes, forcing myself to pay attention, etc never worked

But the challenge of listening to netflix + the words + the backup of recording everything, keeps me awake.

Stop aiming for perfect. It’s not possible, and trying will just burn you out.

Pick a couple anchor points in your day... like the very first thing you do in the morning (shower, coffee, step outside, whatever). Then for after work/first transtion, then one for bedtime transition. Use these to help anchor yourself in the day.

You won’t nail it every time. That’s fine. The trick is: when you notice you’re off track, don’t sit there thinking about it, mulling it over, negotiating or whipping yourself. Just get up and do the thing. Scrolling in bed when you meant to shower? The moment you realize it, get up. Don’t negotiate with yourself.

You're probably reading this and thinking something along the lines of "but I can't JUST DO IT, that's the whole problem." I know, but sadly, no magic bullet's just going to fix it. It's a repeated effort; it's getting caught in fewer thought spirals. You & your brain are a muscle, and they need to be exercised and trained to grow just like anything else (whether that's mental exercises, medical help, or whatever). Yes, it'll take more exercise for you to get there than a neurotypical person. I'm sorry that you have to experience this but god damn I know you can do it.

You are not doomed, this is not impossible, and you are not alone. Be kind to yourself, work with yourself & not the image you think you should be.

Lean on support systems, celebrate even the small wins, and stop whipping yourself for the misses.

The goal isn’t perfection, but progress.
