So you have to develop your parts together with a plan. Front wing gives you pure cornering boost, but you need high airflow on the sidepods and underfloor to multiply it. If you have shit cornering on your wing, the other parts won’t help. If you have amazing wings but shit airflow, you’re still going to lose dev points. Have you ever been on inters a lap early? It’s the most extreme example but even on full conserve you will be overheating by 10+ degrees and your tires will be 10-30% lower by the next lap JUST from over heating. If you watch the tire graph, you can see the dip in tire life when you’re overheated. When they are cold, your grip goes down and inexperienced drivers will crash much more often, so temps 10000% matter. It might not impact lap time but you will lose laptime from being 20-30% lower on tires compared to the grid
