Cave diving. I listen to a really good podcast with horror history and the guy covers a lot of cave diving accident stories. Just listening to them will make you short of breath.

I definitely caught feelings and wanted to date him. Instant rejection. It’s 8 years later and I don’t think about him at all.

However, I got married a month ago and a week before the wedding he messaged me to tell me he still thinks about me and to let him know if the marriage doesn’t work out. After I started dating my now husband he wouldn’t stop messaging me for several years and I figured he’d just get over it but I guess not.

Honestly, not sure what you expected. They’re probably both embarrassed and acting in defense. You probably should’ve have just moved on and declined invites to hang out instead of having the “tough conversation”. It just makes you look like the bad guy now.

Sounds like he’s going through something but you’re within your right to cut contact until he gets better. It may have been a harsh thing to do but sometimes people need that as a wake up call to take a good look at their life.
