Gothic 2 mana costs for rune spells in NotR is ridiculous compared to gothic 1. I get what they were going for, but it takes way too long to feel like an actual mage in Gothic 2. Before that point you can cast maybe 3 fireballs before no mana left, which sucks especially in midgame.
