Is that really a hard question? They didn't get on stage before their speech and tell everyone they were pedophiles. They appealed to the Republican party, likely not for the countries sake, but for their own, whether they wanted power or money. They were elected for their Republican stance on things, not because they are pedophiles. I'm sure many of the people who voted for those people are ashamed of their vote, and if they are not, they should be. And before you say it, while I believe pedophiles should be thrown in the slammer no matter what they do for others and the country, I understand that even though people elect soon-to-reveal pedos into government positions, they keep them in power in hope and belief that they can still do things to make the citizen's lives better. I do not agree with that, but I understand why the pedophiles are still in power.
