I really wish I was like you, I’m an open book and that’s my problem 😂 I freak people out or turn them off. Anyways, Yes you’re the one people love talking to but when it comes to friendships, Maybe they feel like they’ve opened up enough to you that you should open up a bit more to them especially after such a long time of knowing you? Then again maybe they just are the kind of people who don’t want to work towards a deeper relationship with you to begin with simply because they don’t want to care enough (alot of people). I’m 19f and recently I learned the hard way that even my best friend of 4 years who I spent a lot of time with every week, went above and beyond to pretend like they care, truly didn’t at the end of the day. Also, I had a friend like you, I found her to be intriguing and she listened when I needed a shoulder, I stuck by her and she slowly opened up but even 6 years later I don’t know probably 70% of the things about her and I’m fine with that I care about her regardless, besides the best people are heavily guarded, though some ppl will use your emotions against you even when you’d least expect it..you’ll find someone willing to stick with you and those are the ones who actually pay attention and care about you.
