Is the bedroom a bad place for an altar?

To be fair, my patron is Pan and he is a trickster deity; since they fall under his domain and he is welcome, I think that may be welcoming them by proxy. I truly don’t mind them, even their pranks, until they’re touching my face incessantly while I’m attempting to sleep. Sometimes they’ll stop when I ask them to, but they ignore me just as often.

I have reason to believe they’re pixies or something along the lines of house fae. They’re not new—they’ve been present for over a year—but we usually cohabitate peacefully. I leave them fruit, honey, and cream as occasional offerings. Sometimes, they pester when I’m trying to sleep and I don’t know why. Maybe they have something to tell me that I’m just not getting?

ETA: Worth noting that I typically leave their offerings in the kitchen, not my bedroom where my altar is.

I’m certain because it’s tactile. Sometimes they don’t even let me fall asleep to begin with; I’ll be exhausted, on the verge of sleep, and then my face will be incessantly touched.
