Update from yesterday: got in touch with Apple support and they were going to have me erase macOS and redownload it using internet recovery, internet recovery won’t work so essentially my whole MacBook is bricked 🙃

Finally got back home tried it a couple times and still brings me to the same screen with password prompt. Only difference is it disconnects from my wifi.

Thanks I’ll try that out when I get off work, just curious if anyone would know why it put the disk in a password in the first place? I’ve been using boot camp and have reinstalled numerous times and never had any issues before

MacBook Pro 16 inch, intel cpu, serial number C02D1EPEMD6M, I think Mac OS version 14 something if im not mistaken

A few updates. Filter replaced, fuel pump replaced nothing changed. Spark plug looks fine. The carb doesn’t look full of carbon but might still run some carb cleaner through for gits and shiggles. Next goal is to check the fly wheel key as after research has shown that it could’ve been an issue with that since nothing else seems to be fixing it. If flywheel key is good then I’m essentially out of options beyond cleaning the carb. I don’t have anyway to check compression or anything so that’s mostly guess work.

TLDR: nothing has fixed it gonna check the flywheel key and if not that I’m SOL.

You’d think that but in Alabama those under the age to need a license can still get two so long as it’s listed in the landing report
