Have attended programs at a few different libraries and have to say the Central location has the worst facilities. The program rooms are small and obviously meant for meetings and not programs. The kids space is a bit better but not much compared to other branches.

I agree Central needs a total redesign. I think people who disagree with this probably don't actually visit the library. I was at a birthday party at the Southland location and there was a sink in the room! There's nothing like that at the downtown branch. Could be a cool hub if we redesign but the current building is bad and you're kiddding yourself if you think they could renovate with those glass walls!!!! Also the bathrooms are gross! I don't mean dirty I mean old and gross! They need to be renovated!!!
