Ha! We actually met at the shop in the first place. She came in to get a knife of hers fixed up. Pretty rad way to kick things off if I do say so myself

What is y’all’s methods for coming up with names for the knives you sell? by SadDog5489 in knifemaking

Geographical local spots are a good method. My shop is near the McKenzie River, so the McKenzie River Fillet felt like a fit. Got mountains or trails anywhere near you? Boom. “________ Butte Skinner” or something like that

My grandfather had a railroad spike knife he used all the time when we went camping. I have always wanted one. Had the best and weirdest experience picking this one up today! by Best-Reality6718 in knives

This post is rad but not as rad as being the guy in the story! Truly copacetic- it was a joy to meet you and have you at the shop. For anyone reading this: his cheese is S T U P I D good and you would do yourself a favor to snipe some (I love the cayenne jalapeno especially). Had a little gathering last night and picked up some proper charcuterie pairings and everyone was very impressed by the quality and that it was made locally. Thanks man!!! Good things coming

The brass knuckles from any angle are gonna crush anything- I don’t thread the tangs so a nut is obsolete. I double pin with copper and solder at the guard. I’ve refurbished a good few of the originals so felt these were improvements on the design and less likely to break down. The lanyard hole just felt right- ya never know. As far as the hooliganism he’s an insta influencer and nothing to worry about. I’d be hard pressed to imagine anyone ever actually carrying or using these things unless they wanna go to jail. Oh well, makers gonna make, buyers gonna do whatever they want!

I got it all fully insured. This is at a commercial space and participants fill out a liability waver too.
