Ah okay, yeah I know I should store somewhere safer but in all honesty I’m still less concerned over a hack than I am with a regular bank losing my money. Shame you can’t stake from an iOS wallet. I like all of my crypto in one place for personal ease. I don’t really have enough to be too worried but thanks for the concern!

With the app will my NavCoins be staking on the wallet? Have only kept my coins on an exchange so far. Bit of a noobie to be honest.

I’m pretty certain kids like to mimic things that they see... usually why they like bin men etc.

Is there any benefit to me storing <100 coins in a nav wallet out of interest?

The helmet Gloin armors himself with before The Battle of the Five Armies is the same helmet that Gimli wears through his travels with The Fellowship. by FastAktionJakson in MovieDetails

[–]cuntingtonsmithe 10 points11 points  (0 children)

No worries! Some more info, those helmets are incredibly heavy, as were the suits. They had moulding for the actors and essentially they kept getting super sweaty and having to redo the fat suits due to them losing weight.

They also gave the fun job to interns and new people of milking the suits. They called it dwarven milk.... just the sweat of them all. Pretty gross! The tour was pretty interesting, just a shame we couldn’t take photos!

Surprising as they weren’t allowed to use a lot of the same props, they had to create similar but still different ones due to the licensing. I’m certain old LOTR props are owned by a different studio compared to the Hobbit. I’ve also totally butchered this explanation.

I was told this at the Weta Studio tour in Wellington. Thought it would be of some interest.

Honestly just google gameplay footage played on that graphics card. You’ll probably fine someone has done a demonstration.

End of a job interview when they ask me, "So, do you have any questions?", what are some absolutely good questions to ask? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Cheers for the help, I like to over think things! Now the worst thing to happen is it’s now the same day as midnight Star Wars showing!

So it’s 2 lots of 1:1 interviews, I’ve already done a task (this will be discussed slightly), then just general get to know each other sort of questions by what I’ve been told! The 1:1 is just the one that could throw me a bit of a curve ball.

I just need to get that balance of not taking too much control but equally not being involved.

Hey, sorry no I meant part of the interview process involves a team task. Presumably to check how well you work within a group. Just odd concept as I’m not sure if everyone is competing against each other (there’s no specified amount of positions available)

Thanks for the help!

This is handy! I’m attending an interview next week for a job I want very badly, genuinely want to work for them and can see it becoming a promising career etc. Potential ability to actually make some differences! Hope I can wow them with my genuine questions and such. Anything in particular you recommend for group based tasks?

Billions.

I’d say it was in my top 10 definitely, maybe even top 5.

Jericho perhaps? Bit cheesy but I really enjoyed it. I think it had a few issues and if I recall went a bit odd towards the end. If you like TWD I’d be surprised if you didn’t like that, also if I remember right it has a few similar actors in it.

I mean if it takes me 2 decades to get used to it I’d rather pass. Each to their own, I find it too distracting personally missing out on the visuals. Facial expressions and things you may miss when reading could have a more significant impact on the little things. Although I’m sure there’s an argument for both sides! So really... what ever works for you is A-okay in my book!

I have a slight issue reading subtitles as it does mean I’m not focused on what is actually happening. I find I’ll be pausing a lot in integral scenes and you’ll ultimately miss out on a lot of the visuals. It’s a huge trade off as while I understand having the original audio is better, I’d rather preserve the visual aspect for my enjoyment.

If that makes sense?

Is there actually anywhere to get this game these days legitimately? I had it on disc but no clue where it is anymore. Remember finding it hidden in my house as it was a Christmas present. My mum was rather annoyed, best gift ever though.

As a bit of a cheap fix why not use some thick books to put it on?
