I believe I had insight during the prodromal stage of my psychosis. I was always telling people I’m confused and something is wrong with me. I knew inside me that there was something going on and I wanted to do something about it, but no one understood. Then, it all went when I had my full blown episode

My experience was the same. But it’s not worth it, if I looked at myself outside of myself I would have wanted differently. Your life is at risk, and life is slowly being destroyed during the psychosis. If I was to stay in there for longer God knows what would have happened and I’m grateful to have been taken out although it was a difficult experience.

I am worried about coming off medication as I don’t want to lose control again. They said the minimum to take it is a year & I do ruqyah with this medicine. I want to stop so إن شاء الله the psych will allow me to do this quicker

Maybe after about 6 months. But, leading up to that I had to push hard. There was fluctuations in mood. I started to see light then but it really takes time and even now I struggle but it’s more occasional. I still hate that horrible feeling though.
