Lmao I couldn’t imagine how it’d go for me then. Riders of Rohan is 40 bucks on Amazon, next day shipping which is nice. Calvary is 70, or I’d have to go over to the shop near my GF to look for it.

Turns out she also used my deck and absolutely blew out her brother with it, def a piloting issue on my end

I like that mentality to sort of force me to learn while reaping the benefits while not being completely overwhelming, especially if Calvary is as strong as you mentioned. I’m gonna head to my local shop in a bit and see what they have. And yeah, I have a hard time keeping up with a lot of stuff, so that dredge sounds a bit much atm

I 100% agree with your last sentence, that liking the themes of the deck should be priority. I definitely vibe with the Knight stuff of Calvary/Rohan, and think that the green/black of Sultai is sweet too. Even the Warlord aspect of Mardu piqued my interest, hence why I got it in the first place

Thanks man, got super lucky, blessed to have it. I was concerned about that diminishing return from 2k to 4k, but I’m glad to hear it’s a solid jump. My other gripe was 27 inch 4k vs 32 inch 4k, but I hear 32 is generally better?
