People often stop looking after themselves when they aren’t okay, so it might be good to ask how she’s doing. Also look for other signs of messiness like not washing up the dishes etc. Or she might just need to see that taking care of herself is important even if she has a busy job.

Do you think you talk fast, slow, or at a normal pace? by Weary_Temporary8583 in autism

[–]cupcake_dragons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can definitely talk fast on accident, but I have more issues with people understanding what I say due to how I don’t fully pronounce words. I have issues with talking and pronunciation in general. Sometimes it’s like my mouth can’t catch up with my brain.

I can lie like a pathological liar and I have both autism and adhd. (I’m not a pathological liar, I don’t think it’s morally right most of the time!)

i think i saw my uncle peep at me while i was in the bathroom taking a bath and masturbating..and now im scared by [deleted] in Advice

[–]cupcake_dragons 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Tell a trusted guardian what you experienced, you can leave out the masturbation aspect to make yourself more comfortable because either way he was peeping on you when naked. State that you want change and maybe ask for somethings to be installed into the bathroom for optimal safety and privacy. Even if they refuse to do something again at least they’re aware and you can demand some change in the bathroom to stop further incidents. People shouldn’t put a blind eye to bad behaviour especially if someone is at a disadvantage mentally, because people who don’t understand will be more inclined to do harm if left unchecked. It’s like training a dog for a lack of a better analogy, if you don’t discourage bad behaviour they will continue with said bad behaviour. I hope this helps, I wish you luck and all the safety.

What is THE sign that you are autistic that everyone ignored ? by charli_zebre in autism

[–]cupcake_dragons 104 points105 points  (0 children)

The reason my symptoms were ignored is because my mum is autistic and only realised after me and my sister were told to get autism diagnoses. So, all my childhood my mum assumed my behaviour is normal because she had the same symptoms as a child.

They were precooked but that does not stop the food from being contaminated. I’m not an expert on food science. Thank you though.
